The picture shows the African standard lamp shedding light on two Kwashiorkor children, with one feeding the other (called "My brother's keeper") and onto the small crucifix carved here. The wooden plaque behind the light is from a grateful patient. It indicates the hardships we are addressing from birth to death in Africa.   Dame Cicely is still a light to us here in Uganda when we started among so many difficulties. She was always there to pray and understand. A banana fibre picture from Uganda about Hospice Africa Uganda was at her bedside in St Christopher’s during her last illness.
