David Lyle
I was a medical registrar at St,Christopher's in 1983, and have been a GP since and physician to our local Sue Ryder, the contrast of clinical work being sustaining.   The light is in our kitchen, the hub of family life. The modern wild stainless steel off-sets the ordered 1630's brick of the old end wall. Around the table are usually gathered conversations enjoying life's tales and hopes. The basket of fruit needs frequent refilling, or a bottle of wine rather than water jug. The note pad and diary keep track of commitments, newspaper informs of the world, while its puzzles stimulate.
